It is one of the world’s largest annual design events, which comprises hundreds of events including the Salone del Mobile furniture fair. 5 Things to Do and See at Milan Design Week 2022
1 – Visit the Salone del Mobile 2022 – The week in the calendar where the design world converges on the Italian city. The main event at Milan design week each year is Salone del Mobile, the world’s biggest furniture fair, which takes place at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre from 7 to 12 June 2022. This year is the 60th anniversary of the fair, which sees it showcase more than 2,000 exhibitors – a return to its pre-pandemic size after it was cancelled in 2020 and organisers were forced to run a pared-down version of the event in 2021.

This district is known as an international point of reference as well as a centre of Milan’s best creative, commercial and cultural development. 4 – Don’t miss the Tortona Design District – The Tortona Rocks, located in the Porta Genova, will showcase the work of international design. Tortona Rocks brings innovative design to the stage of the Fuorisalone 2022, with more than 20 international exhibitions. From the monumental installation by IQOS to the innovation of the German Design Council, from the Slovenian Centre for Creativity (CzK) to the superior lighting design by Stilnovo, and much more.
