Vincenzo De Cotiis

Know outstanding interiors that are both livable and gorgeous!

The Politecnico di Milano-educated Vincenzo De Cotiis works at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and furniture design, following in the footsteps of Italian masters like Gio Ponti and Carlo Scarpa and valuing superior craftsmanship above all else. His sculptural furnishings, which are offered for sale and on show at Carpenters Workshop Gallery, frequently serve as inspiration for his interior design projects, which include yachts, several retail jobs, and homes in Ibiza, Paris, St. Moritz, and Cyprus.

Vincenzo and Claudia Rose De Cotiis, are delighted to announce the opening of a new exhibition space in the centre of Milan. Situated on via Fratelli Gabba, in the heart of Milan’s most prestigious district, will exhibit standout works of contemporary art. The 300 sqm space will provide a new home for visionary international artists, jointly curated by Claudia Rose and Vincenzo.

Arquitecture

Vincenzo De Cotiis: Inside His Apartment in A Palazzo in Milan

Vincenzo De Cotiis Architects’ work arises from an incessant process of analysis – shifting between artistic and intellectual experimentation. Architecture represents the generator of new habits where matter dictates the rules for the relationships between objects, furnishings and the space itself; uncompromisingly positioned between the future and the past, bearing unexpected interactions.

Casiraghi Architecture d’Intérieur

Know outstanding interiors that are both livable and gorgeous!

The Italian-born, Paris-based Fabrizio Casiraghi has created an entrancing body of work since starting out at the Dimorestudio in Milan. His projects include stores for the fashion label Kenzo and candlemaker Cire Trudon, a skillful renovation of Paris’s renowned Drouant restaurant, and boutique hotels in posh locations. The internet went into overdrive when he furnished a lavish Parisian apartment with skirted yellow sofas and bronze painted-filigree plasterwork. “A beguiling harmony flavored with African and Asian allusions,” is how Casiraghi describes his aesthetic. And there’s more to come; three audaciously realized hotels are currently under construction in London, Sydney, and Paris.

The famous Parisian restaurant Drouant

The task of renovating the famous Parisian restaurant Drouant was both an honor and a challenge for Casiraghi. Updated by Ruhlmann in the 1920s from its original 1880s design, the restaurant had undergone a notorious renovation in the 1980s. It needed to regain its Art Deco spirit while avoiding becoming a ‘period room’ .

In Casiraghi’s own house in Paris, the Mitteleuropa of the last century is eclecticly displayed: a fruit bowl by Josef Hoffmann, a lamp by Gabriella Crespi, the hard curves of a Mario Botta and the eloquence of a Gio Ponti , and perhaps a thrifty bauble from the souks of Marrakech where Casiraghi vacations with his family. Future projects include the Bellevue Hotel in London and private homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
