Present and Future of Craftsmanship, The Panel To Attend at LDC 2019 – The 2nd Edition of the Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit is coming this June 26th and 27th and, like we’ve told you before, PullCast will be well represented at this top event that honors and elevates the Craftsmanship Values and all the Tradicional Arts!

PullCast will be represented in the Artisans Showcases where one of PullCast’s Master Artisans, Rui Pinto, will showcase how some incredible pieces of PullCast are made. But this won’t be the only participation of PullCast at this Summit!

Rui Pinto and the CEO and Head Designer of PullCast, João Barros, will be part of the incredible panel Present and Future of Craftsmanship, where, as the name strongly suggests, there will be a debate centered around the current status of Craftsmanship in the Design World and how do the Crafts and Arts will continue to impact and be part of the Design World in the future.

This panel will take place on the 26th of June between 4:45pm and 5:45 pm. It will be one incredible hour filled with amazing Design and Craftsmanship talks and debates. Rui Pinto and João Barros will defend PullCast values and ideas, but they will also share their personal views and past experiences as Artisan and Designer, respectively. They will try to show the audience what is PullCast doing to celebrate Craffstamnship and how this luxury hardware brand uses Ancient Techniques to build their unique pieces.

This panel will be moderated by Portuguese journalists Marina de Almeida, a top connoisseur of Design and Craftsmanship that currently works for Diario de Notícias, one of the most popular newspapers of Portugal. This panel will be completed by the presence of two heavyweights of the Craftsmanship World: Conceição Amaral and Diana Anghel.

Conceição Amaral is de CEO of Fundação Ricardo Espírito Santo Silva, a top Craftsmanship Foundation that’s been supporting the Crafts and Arts of Portugal for decades! Anghel will represent at this Summit and Panel the Institut National des Métiers D’Art, a well-known Foundation whose main mission is to protect and develop the Craftsmanship Values in France.
