The Highlights of the Art Basel Miami Beach 2018 – The amazing 2018 Edition of Art Basel Miami Beach 2018 has come to an end. It will return next December, but first, we’ll be able to enjoy the same event in Basel, in the Summer of 2019!

Claudia Wieser was one of the most relevant artists in the Sies + Höke’s showcase with her colorful and minimalist Untitled art pieces created in 2018. Her sculptures are perfect examples of how art and design can be merged together to create something beautiful and functional at the same time.
The Haas Brothers were, undoubtfully, stars of this year’s edition, not only thanks to their solo exhibition Ferngully but also with their works showcased by Marianne Boesky Gallery.
From the Michael Rosenfeld Gallery the wonderful works by Claire Falkenstein stand out with their concept of destruction and decay. And in Galleria Franco Noero, the sculpture by Mark Handforth made us think about the passing of time with its spiral-like shape.
Galerie Lelong also offered us the opportunity to admire two amazing sculptures, one by Jaume Plensa and other by Michelle Stuart. Something about the closed eyes of Rose and the stars in Sheep’s Milk and the Cosmos create a surreal and dreamlike sensation.
These among many other incredible works of art showcased at Art Basel Miami Beach 2018 planted seeds in our imagination. Next year, we hope they bloom in more creative and innovative ways to work in the art and design fields. We can’t wait for the upcoming art exhibitions by the best art galleries in the world.
