Orlandi started her career in Fashion and, for 20 Years, she gained a strong reputation as a Design Icon and Consultant for labels such as Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan. But after conquering the World of Fashion, Orlandi also conquered the world of Art and Design!

As we’ve said before, Galleria Rossana Orlandi is a must stop for anyone, especially during Milan Design Week. Orlandi herself aside from proposing many challenges to young and aspiring designers has a large showcase of several furniture objects, The Gallery also mixes together a retails store, a showroom, a couple of offices and a courtyard for events and meetings. If you’re lucky you might even get the chance to meet the design legend herself.

Rossana Orlandi is clearly a patron of Design and Arts! She is always promoting Design Contests, Design Expos and Masterclasses, but she’s also a great Mentor and Patron of Young Designers. Recently she was one of the Design Mentors of the popular Rising Talents Design Contest/ Showcase at Maison et Objet!
This year she launched the first edition of the design contest Ro Plastic Prize. This contest’s main goal aims to be a challenge for young designers to find new ways to transform, re-design and re-use plastic in the creation of new concepts in five categories. The contest will be divided into five different categories: Design, Home Textiles, Packaging Solutions, and Conscious Innovation Projects. A stunning Contest that once again prooves Orlandi’s touch and love for Design and Important Issues!
